About Us
The RSPCA Solent Branch CIO (known locally as The Ark) is an independant branch of the RSPCA, and a seperately registered charity.
We own and operate a large animal centre called The Stubbington Ark, where we care for a wide range of domestic pets, farm animals and wildlife. May of which have come from our 400 square mile catchment area in Hampshire.

Cake competition disclaimer:
By entering this cake baking competition, you acknowledge that all cakes submitted are subject to inspection by the judge and will be sold at our Summer Fair after judging to raise funds for our Animal Centre.
All cakes must be delivered to The Stubbington Ark Animal Centre no later than 7pm on Friday 21st August 2025
Judging will take place at 10am on Saturday 22nd August, prior to the opening of the Summer Fete at 11am Winning entries will be identified with a certificate and trophy
• Food safety responsibility:
- Participants are solely responsible for ensuring their cakes comply with food safety regulations
• Ingredient disclosure:
- Participants must provide full ingredient lists, including any potential allergens, when submitting their cakes.
- Cakes not disclosing a list of ingredients when dropped off will not be able to be included in the competition.
• Judge discretion:
- The Judge will have the final say on judging
• Right to refuse entries:
- The organisers reserve the right to disqualify cakes that do not meet competition guidelines or pose a safety concern.
• Entries:
- Entries for each class will be limited to 15 people per class Each cake can only be entered for one class
